Kucherov - 86
Vasilevskiy - 88
Nesterov - 89
Namestnikov - 90

All we need is Gusev to come over and wear 87.

Would be nice but unfortunately, unlikely because he only has 33 points in 50 games in the KHL, and the KHL is a downgraded version of the NHL.

the KHL to NHL points is not the most significant thing as shown by guys like Lehtera and Komarov just this season, but I don't think Gusev is in any way ready to make the transition to the NHL. If the Bolts signed Panarin, however, that would be something special.

[mod] It's good to have someone pushing Bishop a bit as he hasn't had that for two seasons.

Awesome save. Hurts just watching it.

Mogilny defects to Sabres in 1988. Fetisov joins the Devils in 1989. I think these are important years for Russian players looking to be free to join the NHL.

15 points in his last 14 games 8+7 and is playing first line now. He played on the fourth the first months of the season.
But i also dont think he is ready maybe one more season there.

Not to derail things too much but I'm not too familiar with Tampa's goaltending situation. Is Vasilevsky going to make Bishop a luxury or redundant in TB?

IF all plays out as we Tampa fans hope, Vasilevsky would steal the starting job from Bishop somewhere between now and next years playoffs, making Bishop redundant. So we might trade him in the summer of 2016 with one year left on his contract, which should be the highest his value gets from now on.

Either we add an exerpienced (read not over the hill) backup or Gudlevskis or Wilcox is ready by then as well.

That said we are talking goalies here, one of them is 20 years old, the other is a bit injuryprone and has yet to play in the playoffs. So much can happen from now till next summer.
