Just watching the third and the pace was high though some of that was also things being a bit loose as one would expect for the first competitive action for these guys in a while. Bolduc stood out in my limited viewing for sure.
Nazar also had some quality burst and night drives that lead to dangerous scoring plays.

Leafs have something in Grebyonkin. Only 21 put up 41 points in 67 KHL games at 20. Looks legit out there, like an NHLer.

Hutson was dancing for Montreal, he’s going to be very tough to contain.
Cowan really good for the Leafs, going to be hard to keep him off the team. Has that “it” factor.

Successful rebuilds will have missed with top picks and then (the key) is that miss is covered by a later pick that’s a hit. Yes, Reinbacher looks like a miss at 5OA but that miss is covered by the hit at 62OA of Hutson. He looks like a player.

Really hard to watch the Bruins v Blue Jackets game after the Leafs v Habs. This game is slow and has zero atmosphere. That Leafs v Habs game sure showed how Montreal is the Mecca of hockey.
