Very well, using the last 4 years:
Thomas Vanek:
GP: 262
G: 102
A: 130
PTS: 232
+/-: -6
Phil Kessel:
GP: 283
G: 124
A: 148
PTS: 272
+/-: -35
So he beats Kessel on +/- (whoop de doo) LOL
Cherry picking to make your case, huh? Not fair. lol Try not picking the best of Phils seven seasons to make your point. Use career stats? Or maybe Phil has only played four seasons?. Equalize the number of complete seasons/games if you wish. (Vanek has played more seasons than Phil. ) Equalize them .TV has marginally more goals , pts, assists and a marginally better +/- .
When he plays a full season with a real number one play making center on a good team with a pp you are going to be shocked. Take it to the bank. The point.. Most would agree they are equal talents with different games imo .lol (respectfully imo) You can throw Nash in too.
If you still think Phil is much better thats ok too.
Phil is three years younger (big factor).
