You'd think after that s**tshow against Carolina they'd want to come out flying and dominate against a struggling team that can't score on the road.

Instead, they look like a bunch of kids that had their lunch money taken. No urgency, no compete, looks almost exactly like they did in the Habs series games 5 through 7.

Not good.

Our lack of offensive depth will sink us completely. I don't care how we are placed right now. We have top heavy talent that has been proven to be shut down in the playoffs when it matters. Beyond that we do not have anyone who can produce when we are restricted.

Not watching, but you could tell the team was going to start slumping, they haven’t played very good hockey for the past 2 weeks, starting from the 31st against the Islanders.

And you could argue even way before that. They had just found ways to win.

Can't have this PP going into the post season. Might as well go into each game with -2 on the score board.

Need to split up 34, 16, 88, 91 and 44 on the PP. Stale AF

Jesus... We need fresh blood on these lines yesteryear.
Morgan needs an ayahuasca trip to rewire his brain fog

Kind of feeling that as well. We don't have the depth we need to get out of ruts like this.

The flow of the last two games here. (Especially since the 2nd period of the Canes game) resembles playoff style hockey. The forechecking becoming more aggressive. Scoring chances being at a premium and really nothing exciting going on in general. And look at how the Leafs have come out and played. This is exactly why a lot of us are worried come playoff time. Even with a new coach, we're still seeing the same shit that we've been seeing for the last 8 years now.

Not good.

Just listening to Friedman talk about O'Reilly as a possible trade candidate and you just know he wants nothing to do with the Leafs.

Feeling is mutual.. truly. We cannot afford to get slower and there is no way he wants part of this core.
