Thought they might collapse and fail again on this one...nice to see they stuck with it after the Boeser embarrasment. What a pathetic call by the refs.

Makar heard you talking all your shit.Amazing game by Makar tonight. Quinn Hughes disappointed. I expected more from the MVP.
As a Calgarian, I think it’s pretty cool that two of the best defensemen in the game are from here
To be honest Hughes did look great today. Makar’s just on a different level though, noone is even close.
People saying hughes/fox or anyone else is better really reminds me of how we were trying to convince ourselves that Mackinnon might be better than McDavid a few years ago
Mackinnon has looked like someone who needed x-rays.
Been banging this drum since his performance vs. McDavid in the playoffs. The debate was always valid since then and with McD's struggles and Makar staying healthy (fingers crossed) he's showing his capabiltiyPeople will soon realize that Makar is the best player in the NHL. There are few who already know(including me) the rest just need to catch up
The last few games he's done more standing around than flying around.I actually think it's the opposite. MacKinnon has looked great physically. He looks strong and flying around like usual. It's been the mental mistakes, bobbled pucks, bad passes etc.
This season more than ever it looks like he's just relying on his crazy physical tools and that's why he's been able to produce. Despite the criticism MacKinnon being out/playing banged up has the potential to make things really ugly. RyJo1C incoming.
25% of the season complete so lots of time left but forget the Norris conversation for now, Cale is legitimately the Hart favorite at this point.
He’s also just entering his primeBeen banging this drum since his performance vs. McDavid in the playoffs. The debate was always valid since then and with McD's struggles and Makar staying healthy (fingers crossed) he's showing his capabiltiy
Somehow, it will be Taylor Hall again.MacKinnon playing below his usual standard is actually a selfless act of propping Makar up for the Hart. We'll just have to spin the wheel to see what version of Hart voting we get this year. The criteria seems to change every year.
