That whole sequence was amazing. Monster shift for Bozak. He's really coming into his own here. What a beautiful defensive play and then handling the puck and distributing it well in the offensive zone.

Kessel... what more can you say about him? These classless, dirty, POS Canucks have been trying to hack his wrist throughout the game.

Go Leafs Go!

Holy smokes can Kessel ever shoot

Read Mirtle's article on Kessel's stick. It's one of the better articles by Mirtle.

Ovechkin and Kessel are the only players that can play with that kind of stick...it's hard to shoot or pass with the puck without skill with that stick.

And that is why we don't need to go looking for a first line center. We have one and his name is Tyler Bozak. What a superbly rounded player this kid is turning into.

the thing i hate the most about Kessel right now:

He's going into the Olympics on fire, for the wrong team.

What happened to Bozak is useless. He proves you guys wrong numerous times every game.

All Bozak, saved a breakaway, then possessed the puck, and then sets up the Kessel goal. What a shift by 2 of our best players and at a key moment like last Saturday against the Sens.

Because aside from those goals he contributes absolutely nothing else - - he actually kills any offensive creativity on the lines he plays on due to how selfish he is with the puck.

No he doesn't, in that case lines he was on wouldn't be productive at all, and they are.

He is selfish, he is a puckhog and he plays a high skill game without having quite the skill for it. I'm not disputing that at all. I'm just saying that the end result is that the production of lines he is on hasn't been bad at all, even if it's because he makes four bad plays and then one great resulting in a goal rather than the usual 5 mediocre plays that most people have.

Kessel needs to teach Rielly that snap and then he will be unstoppable.
