So? We use our regular lines on the PP, you expect us to roll with Plekanec/Byron/Lehkonen on our 1st PP wave? In any case Plekanec is hot trash offensively, him and DD are equally garbage.

We're always gonna end up with 1 useless player on the ice if those 2 are out there for the faceoff, it's fun to start our PP's with a handicap.

Galchenyuk needs to get his **** together and work on his faceoffs, you can't be goddamn center in this league while being 30% in the dot.

Plekanec played with Shaw and Pacioretty on our first PP.

Couturier finished 8 in selke voting with 40% Faceoffs, he's fine.

So in other words...DD's presence, for you, is the difference between this team being successful or not

Got it

I think having a shooter like Lehkonen on the PP is better than DD.

So yes, I think the team would be more successful if they put the better player on the PP.

Weird thinking right? I think with better player, the team will be better/more successful..

Lol so much hyperbole on this board. You're either amazing and getting praised or horrible and getting **** on. There is no in between.

At least we call it how we see it, we're getting outplayed badly by the worst offensive team in the league.. what else do you expect?

I'm talking about our PP, i don't care about defensive players and Selke votes. One of the most important parts of a PP is the o-zone faceoff (especially when we have no other offensive C's that we can use for faceoffs), Philly has the best offensive centerman for faceoffs in the league (Giroux).

do teams typically start their PP's with their 3rd line center?

I'm not talking about the team. I'm talking about the individual players.

Like people saying Shaw has been "horrible" this season. A guy doesn't play like a superstar and now he's horrible.

People don't even know what playing horrible is.

How long before MT starts juggling his lines again and make 3rd and 4th liners feel special?

Vancouver's speed is giving us fits.

We have like 3 fast players, sutter, hansen and horvat, everybody else are basically slugs.

That was just horvat being horvat, easily our best player going forward on this team, and future captain.

The Canadians are so lucky to have a player like gallagher, always been a fan.

We already need to upgrade the top 6 so Plekanec, DD and Pacioretty thought "why not make this problem bigger? let's suck". I know we're 8-0-1 but this team is a bore to watch and will inevitably fall into a major slump if nothing changes. I'm now to the point where I know nothing will happen as soon as Pacioretty, DD or Plekanec get the puck. And it doesn't.
