Gerbe reactivated.

McGinn and Di Giuseppe sent down to Charlotte.

Definitely would've preferred to keep Phil, but whatever I guess Gerbe's on a one-way.

A bit surprising to me. I really thought PDG was a great fit on that line with Skinner and Rask and added an element that nobody else does. Not a huge complaint, but I'd rather go with:

Versteeg-Staal-Lindholm
Nordstrom-Staal-Nestrasil
Skinner-Rask-PDG
Gerbe - McClement - Malone/Nash
Nash/Malone

Would have preferred to keep PDG up, but it is what it is.

Prettymuch my same thoughts lineup wise BBA. Not that Nash and Malone have been playing poorly, but it makes more sense to work Gerbe back into the lineup on that line and keep what was a good thing going with Skinner-Rask-PDG then break that up.

that implies terry not even being considered for the lineup

which for this team is unheard of

So is it not some sort of conditioning stint for PDG? Seems odd to send him back.

So now we know where that high quality Raleigh meth is coming from.

It ain't much to look at but it gets the job done...

This...I'm kind of afraid to mess with the line up at this time. Would rather check Gerbe out a little first.

I've been really liking McGinn's game as well. He skates hard, has a good shot (as we saw last night) and can throw the body. Gerbe is fine but as far has grittiness, we'll be losing something there.

Yeah, he's still pretty raw IMO, but there are aspects of his game I like. Needs to learn how to play within the system and pick some of his spots better as he can be a bit all over the place, but that hopefully will come with time in the AHL.
