Definitely would be a likely claim by the Avs but I'm not sure what the order is - the Avs already made a claim with picking up Ludvig earlier. Aman is dirt cheap and servicable and a center - I can see multiple teams being interested in him as an improvement at the end of the bench type of guy.

As of November 1 if I'm not mistaken it's solely based on standings in this current season. Claiming another player has no impact on the order

With McDavid on IR and the Oil already exceeding the cap, I wouldn't be surprised to see them put in a claim.

Ryan's falling off as a centre and is likely on the edge of getting waived, and although Philp looks like a player, I don't like the Oil only having two playable bottom 6 centres in the system.
