Thats' only about 750k of retention, and only for two years its not too bad.

$4MM x 2 years dumped for a 2nd for 4th swap is still really really good.

It cost 2nd + 2nd to dump Nemeth's $3.1MM x 2, 2nd + 2nd to dump Ghost's 4.1MM x 2, A trade down (equivalent to a 2nd) + a 3rd to dump Kassian and his $3.25MM x 2.

The thing I'm worried about with Hughes is if he does plan to go to NJ. Other teams will catch wind of that and not offer a massive package.
