GDT: VAN @ CBJ | 7 PM EST

Isn't the 1st tie breaker, wins in regulation? Aren't they low in that category? Just don't want it to come down to that tie breaker.
That’s why it’s important to keep the rangers down, because there is no chance we catch them in Regulation wins.

There is a chance to pass MTL (1) and NYI (2) though. Obviously wish we could have closed this one off after the Olivier goal, but hopefully we can get some regulation wins going.

Boone looking like Boone again which is great to see. Monahan not quite as effective as he was earlier but still been a very needed boost to the lineup.

KJ and Voronkov need to find a way to wake up. I feel like KJ hasn't been a complete non factor like Voronkov but just barely. They need to find whatever 2nd wind Mateychuk found tonight, kid was playing with confidence and making plays.

This is where veterans become extra important and why sitting JVR is nonsense, gotta get him back in the lineup

I can’t remember a game where I’ve screamed more in frustration and then in elation so many times.the ups and downs beginning from the second period on were frequent and often at a machine gun pace. I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! What a ride tonight.

It's still a bit frustrating even with the W.

They're in a playoff race with eleven games left and they're playing with the details and composure of a junior team.

Mama told me not to drink the kool aid if I don’t know the flavor
My apologies if you didn’t quit on the team
Too many people here do and it is hard to keep up who is on the wagon and who is off

Fred I'm disappointed that you don't know me by now.

We've had the same positions in the same argument since like 2014.

Love reading these GDT after a Blue Jackets win when they've had a partial shit game, the negative comments, pretending to jinx them....please. Just admit you were wrong.

It's not always glorious, but they're fun to watch.

The Velcro fabric goalie with holes in it would be better than Elvis.

Every post attacking Elvis tonight, until they win and you disappear.

lol I have no problem admitting when I’m wrong. This jinx thing isn’t new yet it’s been a big deal in recent games. Theres nothing to admit.

And no, I don’t think my posts actually had any affect on the outcome of the game.

Agree - but the goal scoring drought (especially at home) brought some bad decision-making in the search for goals, and the returns of Boone, Monahan, Guddy has some rust. Getting behind 3-0 doesn’t help. Hoping they rediscover the structured play in the coming days. Back-to back may be a good thing if they get a good goalie game tomorrow night. Stole 2pts for (not by) the goalie tonight. Elvis has been ok all season - NOT tonight.

It's not entirely unrelated to the goal drought, I'd agree, but that bad decision making in large part consists of our D-men not playing tight to their man in front of the net.

You are all welcome. I turned off the game at 3-0. Honestly, the game was making me angry and I don't like to be angry or want my sports teams to have that kind of affect on me. So I turned it off to decompress. Instead my wife and I watched the first episode of Prime Target on Apple. Not bad...will definitely watch episode two.

Anyway, checked score and it was 4-3 CBJ and I thought ooooh, they came back. I will flip it on. And the 'Nucks scored almost immediately to make it 5-3. So I turned it off again to read my book. I am closing in on the final hundred pages of the third book in the North & South trilogy. I am so close to:)

I would occasionally check the score on Blue Sky but realized I was a jinx tonight so I took one for the team and stayed away as much as possible. If I hadn't checked the score at 6-5 maybe we would have won in regulation.

Being back to backs, can we assume JVR, Chinny and Tarry all play tonight in Ottawa? Maybe even Jake Christiansen or Jack Johnson?
