So who is gonna become a millionaire tonight when they hit on the parlay of:

Jarry GA>3
VAN shots>35
Blueger more points than Crosby
PIT announced attendence over 16k

Three of those are no-brainers

The attendence is the one that'll be risky

I don't bet but can you do a parlay of the Pens blowing a two goal lead or TJ giving up a goal on the first shot of the game? Because both of those would be good bets

I didn't think Sully still had enough emotion to yell about anything

You know in some ways it's a wonder his arrogant ass hasn't just quit at this point.

When he's on the bench these days, dude looks like a mix between a soaking wet furious cat and a dog ashamedly looking at you while it's taking a dump.

Depends on who you luck into in the draft. You get 2 or 3 bonafide stars and the trajectory can change quite suddenly.

We've gotten so lucky for the last like 40 years that it feels like the piper has to be paid, finally.

But that would rule if they fall right back into contention. If for no other reason than to watch the rest of the league's fans do the whole gnashing and wailing thing.

Good thing for you is that when the Malkin line makes one mistake, Tomasino will be benched the rest of the night.

Also love that Jarry is in net because there's a more than 75% chance you'll get J4rry.
I was going to say this! Excited that Tomasino is in the top 6, yet I know it’s only a matter of time before Sullivan puts Hayes there and demotes Tomasino to the 4th line.

Could get ugly. Jarry only has one game with > .900 save percentage and zero games of < 3 ga. 4 goals against would still bring his gaa down tonight.

Takes time before they put up superstar performances for a season. Even if we get 1 or 2 and they bloom in their first or second seasons, the Pens shouldn't try to force playoffs before the foundation from the draft around them is built.
The goal should be a long, strong contention window.
It also makes sense to wait until bad contracts expire, so they can use more of the cap towards playoff performances when they're ready.

If you count this year, year 4 would be 2027-28. Unless we off-load them, we got about 16M allocated towards Letang, Graves, Jarry then. And if we do off-load them, they're gonna require sweeteners to do that, which is probably gonna set them back.
So I don't think they should try to make the playoffs that soon. If a year is guaranteed to end in defeat from the onset, you may as well just lose hard and come back strong later.

He was arguably their best player in his last two starts. +2 GSAx.
We're no better off with Ned, who is a -7.3 GSAx on the year. 72nd out of 76 goalies.

Blomqvist is 28th. +1.9. It's ridiculous that of the 3 he's down in Wilkes. Should be boosting his value right now.

He's likely our starter next season. Let's not torment him here too early in the process.

VAN ONLY very slightly favored, that has me nervous. Hope they get up on us quickly. Miller and Demko out.
