I know it's still early in the season but something is definitely up with this team. We lost some leadership and some veteran presence but it feels like the Kings are so disconnected during the game. The only period that looked somewhat decent was against the Yotes before Arizona scored. Everything else has been crap.

I hope Dean isn't going to sit back and let it keep going like this.

Is Dean capable of trading a guy like Kopitar if it's the best move for the franchise? This is the same guy who couldn't CBO Mike Richards and re-signed Matt Greene.

I'm starting to agree with K17 on two things.

1. Kopitar trade may be in the best interest of the franchise
2. Dean should move upstairs and Futa should oversee the rebuild.

I thought this team had three years left to compete before the massive rebuild would be needed, now I'm thinking it may be better to get it started now. This is not a horrible team but this is also not a SC contender.
