Value wise who would you prefer? Power vs Bratt

I know this is super random, but a few of us were having a discussion between who we'd rather have given age, position and quality of player. was interested in some more opinions!

Bratt. My team is a contender, and Bratt I feel is more of an impact player. If my team was a couple years away from contending, I might consider Power instead though - he still has so much potential.

As a rangers fan it pains me to say this but bratt might be the most underrated player in the league.

Very hard to compare the two, but I'd have to go with Bratt, hes lightning quick, is extremely good at zone entries, and is one of the more underrated playmakers in the league.

Now ? Bratt AINEC. In 5 years? I’d think Power would make some major strides by then but not guaranteed. Bratt is a hell of a player. Power would need to be a legit 2 way 60 pt d man for it to be close

Right now Bratt

he is 5 years older, in his prime years on a better team. The leafs are trying to contender so a Bratt at his deal would be amazing.

Powers is entering his age 23 year season which for reference is when Bratt broke through statistically.

If powers can become a 60 pt player the comparison becomes a lot closer.

If a team like Chicago or SJS is valuing them then it should be Powers. He'll be 25/26 in 3-4 years and entering his prime while Bratt will be near 30 and not in his anymore

Yes it is. I like power better moving forward. It’s like asking who you would have rather had in 2012, Bobby Ryan, or Victor Hedman.

A lot of people were down on Hedman 4 years after his draft, too. Defenders always have taken longer to develop.
