I cant believe Im here responding once more, but f*** if I actually want you to better yourself and I dont know why:

You said AT the 15 minute mark, and then proceeded to insult me instead of realizing its not on me to listen before or past the timestamp you give. Shall I just listen to the entire hour next time, as well?

Take responsibility and realize you took emotion running high in this thread out on me, someone whos had nothing but fine conversation with you in here prior to this

Sorry I was in a rush responding to your demands that I supply you a direct quote and didn’t remember to the exact second it was supplied in the interview. But then again, I’m also not used to dealing with such helpless posters on here.
 
As for Quinn's value, a quote saying he hasn't spoken about playing with his brothers only removes the Quinn to NJ immediately factor.

Quinn still needs to be proven to that the team plans to contend; cant foresee him signing 6-8 years if they are retooling or worse

Does that lead to desperate moves by VAN? Well see. Doubt theyd be moving him this summer in the first place, but its possible

His value is still insanely high and was never going to be from New Jersey, most likely. A true contender will overpay what NJ would and gets a Norris-winner for one or two playoff runs

I'd want silayev over the other two, I don't know why everyone targets Nemec and Casey. A 6'7" lefty seems right up this managements alley and he is probably new jerseys top prospect. I would expect to see him coming back as he also will have nowhere to play for jersey behind Hughes and Hughes haha

That is allot even for Quinn Hughes. I can see Marco Kasper being a center piece, plus another good Young Player. Kasper is a second line center. Edvinsson was a 6th O.A. and already is a top four. And He is big. So Edvinsson and another good young player.

This. There isn't a player in the cap era that has returned that kind of a package. It certainly isn't happening for a guy who we already know wants to play with his brothers.

Ooh if Detroit offers this I would do it. Maybe a separate deal around Petey for Larkin?
But I would do this Hughes deal.

DeBrusk - Petey - Raymond
Hoglander - Kasper - Lekkerimaki (all that upside)
...

M. Petey - Hronek (hopefully Filip can be the #1 offensive D)
Edvinsson - Myers (new shutdown duo)

Nemec and Silayev will also be fine instead of Nemec and Casey. But 2 good d prospects is the minimum if we are trading Hughes.
 
You’d need another PPQB in the deal and Dobson would come to mind. Keeps the Hughes family in the NY area and makes some sense. Maybe something with Barzal and a Cap dump from Vancouver going back,
