How? You can't just shut down Barnes/Barrett 20 games into the season.

You can do it towards the end of the season like Mavs did with Luka/Kyrie a couple of years ago and OKC did with SGA, but for the next 40 games or so their hands are tied.

Just gotta hope for competitive games that end in close loses.
Trade Poeltl, and this team will finish near the bottom.

I agree with that, but trades like that happen closer to the deadline, where teams in need of a C have exhausted their internal/external options and are ready to pay the price for a solution. Sort of like we did when we traded for him in the first place.

i love how Scottie is a dollarama version of Luka Doncic. One is a triple double machine with 30 points consistency, while the dollarama is exactly like dollarama if it works he can maybe score a dollarama triple double or 30 points but no triple double. Underwhelming to the extreme.

I am getting really tired of this. It’s not Scottie’s or IQs fault, but they just never stay healthy. I would like to see them all together for once. We did not see them at all this season so far. How many games will they have together this season now? The whole point is to see what you have with those guys playing together. It’s really frustrating.

With Barnes down for 3 weeks maybe, the tank is solidified. 7-19 record is terrible. Team just needs a top 5 pick in next draft, then reassess.

They may just not be "healthy" as in as healthy as they could be because, you know. A top 5 pick would be really really helpful

At this point the season is over, they’re not a playoff team. I’m fully on board the tank bandwagon.

I agree with the notion that Scottie is showing a big red flag as a cornerstone player. The Guy is just not durable.

Haven't been watching too many games recently but caught last night's game. Ja'Kobe Walter was great and he's looking like a really good draft pick. With his early injuries, you would expect him to struggle but he's played excellent. Good at creating offense on his own and his shooting has been solid.

Shead continues to look good after playing some games in the G League.
