There has been a recurring theme of the Raptors leading through three and then falling part in the 4th. It helps with the tank, they will have to learn to handle these situations. Been fun to watch.

Yea, but you don't want be last in defensive rating. I know they are missing a couple of guys, but still. Darko said they will be better defensively. It's unacceptable no matter if you're for the tank or not.

This is the type of tanking that is great. Hard fought losses, keep it up!

Tbh, I think Darko is just a placeholder for this group, until they develop a bit more. Then they will hopefully bring in someone a bit more legit.

Is this a coaching issue? or a player issue? Because I know they (the players) are working hard, but not smart necessarily.

There are some growing pains with the players, but I just don't think Darko is there yet as a HC. He's a very good basketball mind, but I feel like he fits better as an assistant who focuses on player / skill development and running offensive schemes rather than the entire operation. Just my opinion

Half the team being on crutches all year is the teams best way to ramp up lotto odds.

Not sure it’s best for the team tho.

I think 905 start their season tonight. I guess there’s Chomche to follow down there. I was kinda looking forward to all this years picks being down there for an extended period together. Not looking too likely now with all the hurts.

Hey I know how these boards view posting fantasy stuff but I decided to join a bball league this year. Thus I posted a question in the fantasy section of HF boards. Respect your BBall knowledge if you feel up to it...
Either way understand. Respect.

Is this a keeper league?

If so, the deal isn't too terrible. If it isnt, trading older established guys for younger is a heck of a risk.

Played well again last night for the most part. RJ and Jakob had off games. Quickley started slow but did very well in the 2nd half. Ochai and Gradey had solid games. Mitchell is a good defender but struggles offensively. I would prefer Shead.

Darko has the team playing hard and players have made good progress in development but his game calling in the last few minutes in games this year has been weird. Passing the ball twice into Jakob last night was puzzling.

This was a different script. Down by 11 heading to the 4th. They had a fantastic 4th. Agree on the feeds to big Jak.

I haven't been able to watch a ton of games so far this season, but I'm impressed at how well Dick has developed offensively. I feel like we sorta just figured he'd end up being a 3pt gunner but he cuts and attacks the rim, rolls off defenders to create space, and threatens the opposing D with pumps and jabs to give himself space to do things besides just jack up 3s.

It's encouraging.

Ya his development has been great. Ochai’s three point ability has greatly improved as well.
