The time I least expected the ceremony was half time.

I have rewatched the VC ceremony a couple of times now. They did such a great job with it and the banner may be one of the best in sports.
The banner is certainly amazing. The only thing that I feel is missing is having the old school Raptors dino logo on there somewhere.

The way RJ is playing is very intriguing. Remember, he was only 23 when he was traded here. Means that he had room to get better. It's really exciting to watch him play right now. We might have something here.
Gradey is playing unreal. His cutting is really good. Nice to see Mitchell getting some shots as well.

Gradey has been absolutely fantastic. If he turns into a star, it would really help push the rebuild further.

This is a lot of fun to watch. Gradey is already far surpassing my year 2 expectations.
It was a good trade for both teams. I think O.G. Gives New York a better chance at a championship in the next few years but Barrett and Quickly are more valuable to a rebuilding team like us.
Kind of a perfect storm right now. With the crazy run of key injuries, the young guys are getting a chance to develop, and the close losses do feel like valid moral victories. Give us a high pick next year, get a playable 2C, and we should be on the right path.

I have to admit, I'm really enjoying watching these young guys hustle. They are doing exactly what I wanted them to....entertaining close games, grow as a team, continue to develop...yet lose the game for a better draft pick.
