Keys to game 4?
raptors.game.3.jpg

Green and VanVleet need to play high school level basketball
and then the Raptors win.

We cant count on Powell to get 19.
We cant count on .500 shooting percentage for 4 players from 3pt range.

Leonard is something else man. That steal in OT was breath taking. Played great D on Giannis all game.

Green has to be so much better. His lack of ability to attack the close out realg hurts us.

Magic: Lakers GM Pelinka was 'backstabbing'

To the small number of people who suggested that the Raptors should feel threatened on the Kawhi or even the Masai fronts by the Lakers: Why would anyone want to go near that radioactive clown show right now? Even if we don't automatically believe Magic is correct and believe that some of this is sour grapes/bias as he leaves, it's still a horrible look for the organization.

Our half court defence has been fantastic. We've shut them down, for the most part, there. Transition d needs some work though. Pick up on the shooters. Bucks have been getting too many 3s like that.

Anyone notice Bucks play Giannis like the Leafs run their power play.

The drive up court with the ball and give Giannis a runway to power through and he dishes off to an open player if no good shot available.

It reminds me of when the Leafs leave Marner or Nylander back so they can skate through everyone standing around in order to gain the zone.

Easiest way to defend him is to predict his run way tendencies with two three guys and then have them cover their open man, and stick kawaii at the end of the line.

Raps seem to have done this in game 3.

That's probably a smarter and better analysis than I was going to give.

Mostly, expanding on point 1, it falls on Danny. He was the 2nd-best shooter in the league all season. I get that defense tightens up and he's getting played a lot harder, but he's the only one of the elite shooters whose game has completely gone away.

I have faith though. He's been to the finals before and won. There's just no way he's suddenly lost it. He will revert to his statistical norm. He needs to do that sooner rather than later, the clock's running down here....

Danny for sure, but it includes Kyle (who’s been good), Pascal, Serge, Gasol, Norm, Fred. They’ve all had wide open looks, actually the group far more than Danny whom they’ve identified and made a point of having a hand in his face on the three point arc.

It’s interesting. Both teams are triple teaming the other’s star. The outcome will come down to which particular secondary piece which catch fire.

Yeah, it's more than just Danny. There's been a good number of our losses in all series where no one could make a bucket, with wide open looks. Playoff jitters? Shouldn't affect Danny, or Marc so much (and Marc got his shot going last game).

We need a Bismack Biyombo game 4 2016 ecf type of performance from someone. Maybe Green will knock down 4 or 5 3s and score 20 points? Maybe Gasol will have a 20 point 10+ rebound night. We need another hero other than Kawhi.

How's everyone feeling about tonight?

Gotta admit I think the NBA wants this series wrapped up in 5 so Bucks can face the Warriors ASAP. Going to predict a bunch of shitty fouls on Raptors.
