Why can't it be Utah Mammoths?

Doesn't it look and sound better with an S on the end? For this reason, I'm going with Outlaws.

Hockey Club is pretty bad for this season, and would be embarrassing to be permanent.

Outlaws isn't too bad. But not great.

I like Mammoth best of the remaining three options.

Yeti would have been better. I don't get how they couldn't make it work.

Better still would have been Phoenix. Such a missed opportunity. Cool Arizona reference and a firebird could be the league-best logo.

I'll keep banging the drum here: of the options presented, Outlaws is far and away the best. Mammoths would be fine, Mammoth sucks (I have serious qualms about singular names for a collective entity, because it gets really awkward talking about an individual from the collective. Same problem exists with the Avalanche, Kraken, Wild, etc.)

Of the options that weren't, Utah Raptors would have been so, so much better.

Only thing I disagree with though i probably the most major one. I find Outlaws a boring and uninspired name, but not in a faux-traditional "Utah Hockey Club" way, even. It just feels like a default 'Create a Team Mode' option.

Honestly... anything works. I thought Vegas Golden Knights was a really clunky name and that the Kraken was a meme name, but you get used to stuff really fast. Most names will look or sound a bit weird but will be a fact of life soon enough.

Anything but Hockey Club would work. I'm personally for Pioneers or Pilgrims but anything will do.

Golden Knights still sounds weird and clunky. I'm more used to Kraken than them

I'm guessing they'll eventually pull a "Mighty Ducks" and remove Golden someday
