Proposal: UTAH - NYR

Any Kreider deal won't be favourable to the Rangers, he's washed. 5 assists in a full season playing with a 90 point winger is below replacement level bad. Scott Gomez 2012 level.

Crouse is almost that level but also paid half as much and can be played as a third liner.

So as a base it probably works but Rags would need to add something.

???? The only time Kreider is on the ice with Panarin is during the PP which is operating at 27th in the league this season. Those two never play together in normal situations as the both play LW. For a washed player to still score 20 goals is pretty terrible.

CK needs an offseason of rest (bad back all season) and change of scenery. He's lost all of the spark. I can think of only two goals this year he actually celebrated. The rest of them he's greeting teammates with this face🫤

That said, 25 points is not great so his value is down but we are talking about a player who has 52, 36, and 39 goals in the previous 3 seasons.
Rangers need to eat 50% and attach a 1st rounder.
We are no where near that level of lost value. Keep you hyperbole in your stomach.

Let us know you don't watch any Rangers games without telling us you don't watch any Rangers games.

What a minute. I missed this. You recall the Rangers got the Habs' TOP defensive product for Gomez, yes? I realize you might have blocked such a painful memory from your mind. Ranger fans do that all the time for the TB trade. And as bad of a trade as that was for MTL, it shows an off year doesn't tank someone's value quite they way you are portraying. Kreider has 147 goals in the last four seasons. He's got an average of 31+ goals per season in the last 7. He's fully capable of a PLD turn around.

2012 gomez was nearly four years after the trade. I know you're a grandpa but that Gomez got a compliance buyout.

I'd do the deal 1 for 1.

With Kreider, there is potential for 30+ goals and this year notwithstanding, hes almost a lock for 20+ assists.

Crouse doesn't help our speed game any, but he does help make the team a lot more tougher to play against physically.

Solid 3rd liner with 20/20 potential, although without PP time it's probably more like 15/15 potential.

Saves 2.2 million on the Cap.

I think the Rangers take the lesser player in Crouse along with the additional cap space.

Kreider is toast

But I won't be shocked if some stupid team still thinks of him as a positive asset. There are a lot of stupid teams, after all.

He's not wrong about favorable to NY. He's been awful this yr. And yes I do watch the Rags
He claimed Kreider plays with Panarin. They’re both LW’s. Kreider has been shit this year but he doesn’t play with Panarin. He’s wrong.

Every single Utah trade proposal from another fanbase has Utah sending a fine young asset for an over the hill asset, without compensation.

I can assure you, that isn't the way Utah is planning to build a contender.
