OT: Utah Lounge I: Off to the Races

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I remember telling Moyes that they needed to keep Nagy around to pair with Doan, I think it was that same (or perhaps the following) year that Barnett let him go. :facepalm:

The updates broke a bunch of addons HF uses to get the look and features we had.

Those addons have to be:

1) Updated to meet the core software or

2) Be tweaked to get around what breaks them or….

3) Purchase new addons to give a similar result.

And if the database gets damaged in the process…… well….. things can go poof.

NHL expansion, Kevin Weekes says it's happening, a no-brainer really. IF the Canadian dollar stays in the tank I wouldn't be surprised to see teams like Ottawa, who can't seem to get a downtown arena built, and Winnipeg moving. Apparently the Jets are not drawing well and their building is small by NHL standards.

Ottawa arena is moving forward albeit a little slow than most would like and Winnipeg has the richest Owner in the League. I don't see either as a relocation candidate in the near future.
