Because he was playing mostly with plugs. If he does nothing on that line he needs to dropped down the lineup.

With Roy up, if MSL was serious about sending a message, he should start Roy and Pez and sit two of Darche, Slafovsky, Armia, Newhook and Dvorak.

I never bother with paying much attention to the lines guys...............they can change before the end of the 1st period. Sadly..................
We have spent 65 games some years, trying to get guys who may or may not have chemistry, so it's a science experiment of shuffling the deck over and over.

If, and a big if, he would create 4 lines, and leave them together for games at a time, we might just get more than one line that works. The media always makes too much noise about the lines.

MSL can't exaclty bench 3+ players and the team kinda lack centers. Slaf/Dach getting demoting to the 4th is fine.

The real problem is Newhook fall upward. Or recalling Roy when he haven't shown any more compete/pace down in the AHL compared to his pre-season that got him sent down...but Roy isn't here for very long (only until Laine is cleared to play).
