all their names are terrible. just relocate them to a city that can actually think of a good name.
I had to look up Wasatch (never heard this word in my life) shit even Utah Mountain Pass sounds better than Wasatch

and Mammoth seems like a bad idea, when they have a bad game u can say they took a Mammoth shit
or sucked a Mammoth you know what......

It's clearly going to be Mammoth.

Common sales tactic:

You pitch the name you want (Mammoth).
Put it next to the absolute worst name (Wasatch). And then for context you put it next to the generic forgettable placeholder (HC).

Then when it gets proposed, everyone sees those 3 as the only choices, and chooses the only one that isn't f***ing stupid.

Out of these 3 terrible options, I'm hoping it's Mammoth just so they have a 'normal' team name. I had to look up what Wasatch was, and when I did, saw that was a terrible name for a team. Utah HC is awful, I don't want to see any of that soccer-style BS. It drives me crazy to see they are represented differently on box scores as it is, because they can't say for example 'Avalanche 2 Hockey Club 1', because it's dumb.

I really wanted Outlaws, but I fully expect they're going to pick Hockey Club...

Singular Mammoth makes no sense to me. Mammoths flows better. And I say that as someone that stood by the notion that the plural of Yeti is Yeti.

But if they go Mammoth(s), can we all agree that their shorthand monosyllabic nickname is the Moths?

But all in all, if you want a dead elephant, should've gone with Utah Mastodons.

I'm surprised the two logos haven't leaked yet. I'm assuming the fan votes were conducted in booths or stations where you couldn't take your phone?

We have some very detailed descriptions of the two logos online which I have posted on an earlier page - but has anybody seen the actual (ie - confirmed, not fan or AI generated) leaked logo options from the arena?

Im hoping for Mammoth. It was a top 2 choice for me when voting started. But id honestly prefer Wasatch over HC. "Hocky Club" is such a tacky and lazy approach and it would mess with the entire history of the NHL.

Should change their name to Montreal Victoire.
I’m getting OT here but my favorite sweater ever might be the 1924 Habs edition celebrating their status as “world champions”

Wish they would bring that back.. maybe after the next cup…

Mammoth was one of my votes early on. Still like it. Never liked Yeti.

We need folks to come up with some designs again.

Trademarks in this country are ridiculous. Brand confusion, give me a break, why should the food container industry have any say in what a sports team is named. Mammoth is fine as a name. Utah Hockey Club is dumb as hell. Wasatch is... brutally local, which is cool I guess. Super unique and I hope the people go for it just because it's so unique and local.
