Yamamoto is skilled and plays a hard nosed game. He's a small guy though. Other small guys have made that game work. He should take a page out of Marty St.Louis's book and turn himself into a pile of muscle. Be the Wolverine... err Honey Badger

Really surprising to see no team has the time for him as a cheap depth scoring winger. The last goal he scored in Edmonton was a series clincher. He's got a lot of jam as an undersized winger and he meshes well with skill.

Seattle gave him a season after Edmonton and he certainly did not appear to make a case for being at the NHL level. While maybe not a top6 only player, he's not an ideal bottom6 option. Classic European bound player than will likely thrive on the big ice. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Worse ways to spend a career

I always thought that Seattle was a poor fit for him considering they've loaded up on similarly misplaced depth wingers. A team like Columbus makes sense to me. Or Colorado.
