He's a very good locker room guy and brings energy on the bench. I'd claim him but the Jets aren't to be tampered with right now.

Tampa might have interest and aren't afraid of shorter forwards. Need another forward after waiving Sheary so worth the risk even if he doesn't play but a game or two.

Yamamoto is skilled and plays a hard nosed game. He's a small guy though. Other small guys have made that game work. He should take a page out of Marty St.Louis's book and turn himself into a pile of muscle. Be the Wolverine... err Honey Badger

Difference between Marty and everyone else is that Marty was always stolky. He built his game around his frame, he was always musclular.

Kailer and other smaller players if they gain that much muscle or weight, they'll just become slow and immobile.

Kailer is a prime player for Europe. He'll score a lot of goals there

I’d give him a shot over Pezzeta on the habs 4th line
No. Habs need to get more physical. They are a very easy team to play against.

Plus Pezzetta is the perfect 13th or 14th forward. He is a great locker room guy and doesn’t complain about being a healthy scratch. Plus he can sit in the press box and it doesn’t affect his game. It’s not like a more skilled healthy scratch who you ideally would want playing lots of minutes.

You're probably right about the Europe thing, but remember that St.Louis defining muscle tone was his huge legs. Maybe Yama is just not the type to gain the mass but if he gained 3 pounds of lower body for every 2 pounds of upper he could keep his skating and explosiveness.
