I still think he's got more to show, maybe even much more. But the year to show it is this one or I very much doubt he'll be in Utah next season.

For some reason I thought he put up 40-50 points and was impressed with this deal. Seems like a reasonable target for him, which again would make this a good deal.

He did put up up 43pts in 2022-23.

He was just injured last year and never really got going at all. Only played like thirty some games.

Hayton can still become a 50pts great 2 way player if he is healthy and finds confidence in a good role. He does alot of good stuff on the ice that coaches need to win and has skills, we’ll see if he can establish himself this contract. To another degree i felt this way with mittelstadt couple years back
