The movies acutally weren't that bad but I'm a Marvel nerd fanboy so my opinion is biased

The TV shows were flat out awful thankfully you didn't have to see them to understand the movies.

Disney stopped evolving their formula, which lead to it becoming stale.

Every movie doesn't have to be super serious, but every movie can't be the constant jokes and fan service, never-take-anything-serious style either.

A lot of people seem to despise the flashbacks, but I think that they are essential in the execution of the movie; this scene is one of my favorites in the movie.

There's no moment where Superman reflects on a lesson he previously learned because the flashbacks are stupid and taught him nothing.
