Useless thread MMXIII: Aaron Rodgers Appreciation Thread

I don’t think I could go through that, I’d just buy a new house.

Wife and I are starting to put cash away towards a new house next spring. We will have been in this one 3 years, but it’s just time for something nicer and a little bigger. When it was just us that didn’t matter as much.

We looked into getting a new house, but we like our area and neighborhood (no hoa).

The addition fixes the few problems we had with our house that became more prevalent when little Emilio showed up: very little storage space, crappy master bathroom, and no garage.

Thankfully the apartment we found is not too bad, but we're all ready to go back home. And I'm so sick of having to leash the dogs to take them outside.

No HOA here either, but at times I wish we did have one. Our neighbors kind of suck. Shit and trash everywhere and when it gets windy it blows into our yard and they never pick it up. Always a trailer of junk in their driveway. Stuff like that.

No garage would be a deal breaker for me.

Yeah we have 2 dogs so a fenced in yard is mandatory.

We like our area, but are starting to dislike our neighborhood. When we bought the prominent employer in our area was mostly WFH. Didn't realize this neighorhood is a big cut through for people getting to and from work, and they're now 5 days in office. The street our house is on is fine and quiet, but the street we have to take to get to ours during 8am and 5pm is pretty terrible. No to mention people are constantly going 40 in a 25.

But we bought right when interest rates started going up, so we're at 4%.

Issue is since we spent below our budget we also have a lot of renters on our block for that employer, so that kind of sucks too. Not very neighorhoody feeling which we want for the little man, hence the push to move next year. Just gotta figure out if we can pull together a downpayment to keep this one and rent it out. Worst case we could just sell this and use the equity, but my wife and I have had some good career growth in the last few years with some really nice pay bumps.

Knowing how you "forget" to do things, I can only imagine what an eyesore those weeds must be :help: If you can't properly take care of the lawn how can you be expected to care for a live animal? :dunno:

They're probably mini trees just like my neighbor.

Their dumbass kid over the weekend cut around one because he must have thought it was a tree and didn't realize it was a weed. It's legit 3 feet tall.

My parents house is similar, where you see all these thru-traffic assholes that run the stop signs and excessively speed because they don't live here and don't give a shit.

Back in the day, my car was in the driveway and some drunk driver crashed into it and drove off.

I was doing 27 in 25 zone and some dude literally passed me.

Turns out it was my neighbor 8 houses up.

And he did it 2 blocks before our street.

Thank f*** he moved a few months ago now. Piece of shit.

It's so much dumber when they live in the neighborhood.

Unless you're a cretin that never goes outside, why would you want to actively make your neighborhood worse by driving like an absolute shithead? It's just so f***ing illogical.
