Have a good buddy staying with us for about a week, and he has turned into the worst house guest ever. It's insane how much he's mooched while providing literally nothing. He's stayed with us before and never been like this. It's really weird.

He even snuck a $20 burger on my tab the other day.

What drives me nuts is if he just straight up said he was having money issues I'd happily cover everything.

Instead I'll probably just never invite him over again and he usually comes to stay with us for a week or two 1-2 times a year.

Yesterday he finished the last of the Nespresso pods and has probably down 20 in 5 days, he polished off a bottle of vodka last night as well, probably drank more than 1/2 of it.

20 bucks says nothing is replaced and no offer of help on groceries. Which speaking of I've cooked basically every meal and made extra for him. No help to pitch in on groceries or even clean up afterwards.

Also ate the last of my Uncrustables because yes I'm a child and eat Uncrustables and they're delicious. Bought myself 2 boxes of 4 and only had 2, maybe 3.

I bet nothing is replaced today.

If nothing else it's a good teaching moment because if my son ever grew up to be like this he'd be an orphan in no time. Lazy sack of shit.

He immediately took his bags to the room he was staying in and made no offer to see if we needed anything and has kept whatever he got to himself.

I was supposed to tell him he couldn't stay with us but it slipped my mind. I felt bad telling him a week or two before flying out here he'd need to get his own place. We had so much going on with the little dude I just completely forgot about him coming until he mentioned his flight one day and I was like oh f***.
