The final reference was a shot at Cristobal, who, in one of the most boneheaded decisions in recent history, ran a play at the end of Miami's game against Georgia Tech last season instead of taking a knee, which would have allowed time to expire.

UM fumbled, Georgia Tech recovered and, two plays later, scored as time ran out for the stunning win.
