Frank Fleming vs. Kim Richards: The Chris Grier Showdown

It was a humid Miami afternoon at a swanky rooftop bar overlooking South Beach, and Frank Fleming was already on edge. The longtime, suffering Miami Dolphins fan had spent the entire season ranting about Chris Grier, the team’s general manager, and his roster moves.

Frank had seen enough. Another early playoff exit. Another year of “almosts.” He was letting everyone at the bar know about it.

“They’ve had years to build a real offensive line, and what do we get? The same old garbage! Chris Grier has no idea what he’s doing!” Frank bellowed, slamming his beer on the table.

Across the bar, Kim Richards of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" raised an eyebrow. She had been quietly sipping her sparkling water, but Frank’s outburst had officially ruined the ambiance for her.

“Excuse me,” Kim interjected, her voice calm yet dripping with Housewives energy, “but maybe you should stop yelling about Chris Grier and appreciate what you have.”

Frank turned, eyes bulging. “Appreciate what I have? APPRECIATE WHAT I HAVE? KIM, THE DOLPHINS HAVEN’T WON A SUPER BOWL SINCE 1973!”

Kim, unfazed, took a slow sip of her water. “And? Look at the Rams. They won recently. Sometimes, you just have to be patient.

Frank threw his hands up. “PATIENT? PATIENT?? KIM, I’VE BEEN PATIENT FOR FORTY YEARS! CHRIS GRIER’S BEEN DRAFTING LIKE A MADMAN AND WE STILL CAN’T WIN THE BIG GAMES!”

Kim sighed dramatically and adjusted her sunglasses. “You sound really negative, Frank. Maybe that’s why your team keeps losing—bad energy.”

Frank’s jaw dropped. “BAD ENERGY? YOU THINK MY ENERGY IS THE PROBLEM? KIM, CHRIS GRIER IS THE PROBLEM! THIS MAN COULDN’T BUILD A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM IF DON SHULA’S GHOST HAUNTED HIM WITH A PLAYBOOK!”

Kim rolled her eyes. “You’re just angry because you don’t understand how football works. Building a team takes time.

Frank was now fully red-faced. “DON’T UNDERSTAND FOOTBALL? KIM, I’VE WATCHED EVERY DOLPHINS GAME SINCE I WAS A KID! I’VE SEEN PAIN! I’VE SEEN HEARTBREAK! AND YOU THINK I DON’T UNDERSTAND FOOTBALL?!”

Kim, growing increasingly annoyed, leaned forward. “You’re acting crazy, Frank. I don’t know why you care so much. It’s just a game.”

The entire bar fell silent.

Frank froze. His eyes twitched. His fists clenched. His face went from red to purple.

“JUST. A. GAME?” he repeated slowly, in utter disbelief.

Kim simply shrugged.

And then, before Frank could unleash his final tirade, Kim casually lifted her glass of water—AND THREW IT RIGHT IN HIS FACE.

SPLASH.

Gasps erupted around the bar. Frank sat there, drenched, completely stunned into silence for the first time in his life.

Kim stood up, adjusted her outfit, and gave him a satisfied smirk.

“Cool off, Frank,” she said, before turning and strutting out of the bar, leaving him soaking wet and fuming.

Juan, who had been watching from the next table, whispered to Price, “That was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Brenda, sipping her drink, nodded. “She shut him down Housewives style.”

Price simply shook his head. “Poor guy never saw it coming.”

As the bar slowly returned to normal, Frank wiped his face, took a deep breath, and muttered the only words that made sense.

“… Chris Grier still stinks.”

THE END.

I love how the iconic trio of John, Brenda and Juan fanagle their way into a story they have no part in (they're supposed to be in Vegas)

stupid ass ChatGPT

I honestly have no desire to ever visit Utah lol

I usually go back twice a year, although will be skipping my spring trip. The mountain biking in southern Utah in St. George and Moab is worth the trip.

In the fall I go back to Park City, also to mountain bike, and am going over Labor Day like usual.

Could never live there again though.

I think I mentioned it before but I just like to stick to the Midwest and Appalachia. Plus isn’t the majority of Utah a dry state?
