I know people who spend like half their paycheck on that stuff while I watch my anime for free usually and save money. It's just something to look at in your room.

I have spent money on anime in the past though, still have a box of stuff I need to watch.

So I got mail today from a place called Bonefish Grill. I have never stepped foot inside of this place, but it was a "We Miss You" thing and they gave me a card for a free dinner entree with the purchase of an entree.

Interesting.

Today I had to listen to an Ed Sheeran CD. Twice. Genuinely no idea why anyone does this out of choice. Without any redeeming features at all.

I'm furious that they cancelled the Muppets, I'm furious at TV executives who don't know ****. This is why people don't watch ****ing network TV anymore. *******.
The Muppets, like Bob's Burgers, was a victim of poor management as well as time slot changes. Bob's Burgers, perhaps the funniest show on TV, is also the victim of constant time changes and threats of cancellation. The issue with this damn network TV industry is that quality TV shows like Bob's Burgers and Arrested Development and Futurama and The Muppets are not given enough of a chance. You could argue the last 3 were cancelled way too early.
It's no secret that more and more people watch cable programming through actual cable or third party sites. And cable programming IMO tends to be more lenient compared to network programming (and when I say Network programming I mean ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC). These networks just care about money. They don't give a damn about putting out quality programming out there. You throw on some cheap ass reality TV show instead of quality programming and it gets ratings. So it makes money for the company. I remember Homicide: Life On The Street, precursor to The Wire. It was often cited as one of the best cop dramas of all time but it didn't appeal to Network executives because 1) there weren't many "happy endings" and 2) it was "too real". The ratings were never there but the show was critically acclaimed.
A company like FX for instance is willing to allow creative freedom and be more lenient with programming and ratings. HBO is also tolerant to some extent. So I can't really think of a reason I would turn on my TV other than to watch the nightly news or sports. Because all the crap they're punching out on TV now is utter **** or reality garbage.
