every country EXCEPT the US puts golds above the rest... whoever has most golds = winner... if they tied, then you go to silvers, if they tied then you go to bronze... if they tied, rock paper scissors to figure it out.

Nobody is really the winner though :laugh: they don't hand out a trophy at the end to whoever tops the medal table

well yeah true, but people put the country with most gold at the top of the "leaderboard" it was nice to bring in the most gold in 2010 but since then I mostly just enjoy all the sports when I can watch. Watching random swimming competitions or water polo just because it's fun to watch.

Yeah I just care about certain individual sports that I'm interested in, not really bothered about the overall table

Like I give a **** if Andy Murray wins gold in the tennis, it's boring and he doesn't think he's "British" anyway
