This is almost an The Onion headline

Simple solution to all that: Pay one of those lorry drivers to crash through that fence whilst the woman is standing in her back garden being interviewed. Bob's your uncle, and he promises to attend her funeral.

The little junction that leads out onto that road from their street looks like a death trap too, it's bad enough trying to join an A road like that when you're behind a granny in a Honda Jazz doing 40mph up the slip lane, let alone from a standing start straight onto the road

Do Honda sell the Jazz in Merica or is it too small for you

I imagine all American Hondas being the square ones, like the old Accord

The U.S. equivalent of the Jazz is the Honda Fit. They are relatively popular here as an entry-level or strictly commuter vehicle at a relatively affordable price, and my daughter-in-law owns one. Jazz v Fit differences will lie in features unique to the target audience's preferences & national safety standards.

Yeah over here it's definitely a girl's car if daddy has got a bit of money and you want something bigger than a Fiat 500, or an old lady's car

I always got the impression that in America all the rich daddy girls were driving around in enormous SUVs

Yep, usually it is a huge white model and totally oblivious to any one else on the road or in the parking lot. They're special you know...

You'd have to add at least US$40k to the Fit MSRP before Daddy's Girl would ever consider asking for one.

Yeah I did think that, even the richest daddy's girl over here can't really do that because at that age the insurance can be multiple times the value of the car

Girls used to be able to get reasonable insurance because they don't crash as often but then feminism scored an own goal and insurance companies aren't allowed to discriminate by gender anymore. So boys insurance went down and girls insurance went up to meet in the middle

From what I've seen of American telly from watching the NHL, Geico seems to be one of the only big name car insurance brands

You watch UK telly and you see more ads for the insurance price comparison websites than you do for the actual insurance companies
