I can't remember actual gauge sizes, I think I went into the 20's when I wired my recording studio I went heavier, but I was running the wires under some carpet to a set of huge ass monitors. I've played in many bars that had much less speakers to their in house PA. The one consideration I had was having the wires heavily insulated as we were moving heavy speakers and amps, drum kit, before and after gigs. Whenever I moved and rewired or hooked my TV and all that I just got what ever gauge of fresh wire I could.

Like I said, most people would not hear any difference between gauge sizes, especially if they were also gaming or browsing. However you have nothing to lose by going to a heavier gauge, just a matter of availability and cost.

i use 12 gauge for my KEF LS50s on the desktop, because I can drive a lot of power to them.

I use 14 gauge for everything else, including the HT with the KEF XQ speakers. My HT receiver only puts out like 50w per-channel @ 8ohm. Definitely need to upgrade that in the future. It's next on my list.

Star Wars is the same as well. TFA was incredibly highly anticipated, TLJ and Rise of Skywalker probably would have done better if they hadn't done Rogue One and Solo in-between. They should've waited until afterwards to do those
