Rockstar, the next GTAs are so easy.

Remake San Andreas.

Remake Vice City.

Remake GTA 3.

Hell, they don't even have to be standalone games with a story, just release the maps as DLC for GTA V.

would love to see los fierro (SF) and las venturas again

so much time wasted in las venturas driving the strip and gambling mindlessly online

SA-MP is a free Massively Multiplayer Online game mod for the PC version of Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (tm).

I will say, I never played enough GTA IV, mostly because the driving was atrocious.

However, there are some aspects of it that are still better than parts of GTA V.

Back in the day, it was fun to drive around San Andreas and just dick around.

Doesn't quite hit the same when playing GTA V, more than 15 years later

I still remember my dad not letting me buy San Andreas for a year or two after it came out, because he was afraid I would join a gang.

Yeah, the meek and awkward white boy living in the suburbs is going to join a gang.

Technically I've never beaten GTA IV as the helicopter chase at the end was a pain

The DLC was pretty good though

Every time I edit a post, I hit save changes and I'm shown a blank white screen then I have to refresh to bring everything back.

That's annoying. Probably some illegal adblocking bullshit.

Giant faceless corporations obviously need money to operate.

My point was that my individual contribution is so insignificant that it effectively doesn't matter.

Plus industries should just adapt.

Remember when music piracy was a huge deal and people like Metallica cried about it for a while

Then the music industry just realised where you make the money is from live shows and planned their finances around that

And with the gaming industry the reason they've ramped up in-game transactions is because they couldn't keep rising the price of the game along with inflation because they'd probably cause a piracy problem for themselves.

Video games have stayed relatively the same price for years compared to the normal RPI, they make up for it with the in-game purchases, as awful as they are. The alternative is $100+ for a game and then you probably create a piracy market because people won't pay that

Adapting
