I just wondered if it was only British chavs who did it

The closest thing to happy slapping I can think of is the knockout game, however that is probably one of those things that happened a handful of times but the media portrayed it as this "new trend affecting our teens" or some other fearmongering shit.

It was basically "Punch a stranger and run", which sounds like a total bitch move compared to just starting a fight with someone

There's this awful cat woman youtube keeps recommending me who holds her cat and talks to it and when it yowls at her she makes it out like it's because it understands what she's saying, and all her mindless viewers comment how he is so cute and clever

She needs to be stopped, the cat is "talking" because it wants her to put him the f*** down and doesn't like how she's holding him

My girlfriend shows me Tiktoks like that and I hate them too.

The thing that really gets me is greasy the way they add subtitles because no one would otherwise think the cat is saying those words. Rather than the video asking the viewer if they can hear the words, they're outright telling the viewer what words the cat is "speaking", which comes across as so manipulative and disingenuous.

Yeah, my cat meows when I talk to her too, that doesn't mean she understands and speaks English, for f***'s sake
