Barstool is shit, but they made a funny video after placing bets on the under for every first round game in March Madness.

Funny watching them freak out about losing every bet

I can't get over Superman dodging bullets before we see him be unaffected by bullets not even 5 minutes later, IN THE SAME FIGHT SCENE
the description you give of the whole of metropolis watching superman and zod fight instead of evacuating is hilarious

The destruction of Metropolis was so over the top that it became comical.

The civilian death toll for the final act has to be at least 6 figures, which we're just supposed to forget about because it's not part of the script

According to Zack Snyder around 5000 people died that day and 15-20% of main city was destroyed mostly due to World Engine, but at least 7-8 buildings got wrecked by Superman-Zod fight.

20% of the city my ass.

Buildings were literally falling over and crashing into other buildings. Planes and spaceships were crashing into buildings. All while people were not evacuating.

Ugh, don't make me pull up the movie just to get some screenshots of the destruction

It's ok. It didn't really happen.
Zack Snyder can't hurt you.

Just look at all the destroyed buildings, and that's just where the spaceship gravity thingy was aimed at.

5000 people, lirl

Letterboxd Review said:
There is a scene in Man of Steel that says it all.

In the middle of a showdown with the bad guys in downtown Metropolis with people everywhere, a flaming truck or some other huge thing is thrown towards Superman who is standing in front of a building. A building presumably filled with people.

Superman jumps out of the way.
He jumps out of the way.
Superman.

@Sega Dreamcast You might enjoy this. I recently watched AMC's The Terror which was on BBC iPlayer and looked at the Rotten Tomatoes reviews which were almost all overwhelmingly positive. Except one from someone from "Mediadiversity Reviews" who says "Writers dig a six-foot ditch and throw Hickey's character into it, burying him in stereotypes about gay men being manipulative villains."

So you didn't like it because the bad guy was gay

And we wonder why Hollywood continues to churn out so much shite
