@Sega Dreamcast i had a lot of fun playing today, reminded of how good BF was before 1 and 5 (in 1 and 5 you can't even get team switched, and the servers are mostly DICE run)

I can play whenever you want, but I'm going to rest now.

It's almost amazing how they managed to make 1 and 5 a lot less fun, but it should have been so obvious that the WW1 setting would be a massive hindrance.

Imagine a sequel to Battlefield 2142, holy shit, that would have been way better.

No one wants shitty vehicles or tons of semi-auto guns. And anyone who plays the campaign is a geek, so don't bother with an interesting narrative or setting

1 and V also don't have helicopters

in my first game back I was trying to shoot down one of the helicopters with a buggy machine gun LUL

BF2142 is probably the only one I never regularly played. I missed out on the Titan.

I was surprised I came back after about 5 years away from BF4 and my ranking was only 68. I thought with all the time I put into that game it would be more than that.

You don't need Youtube TV

You don't need Youtube Premium or Sirius XM

You need Spotify Premium

If you're a gunner and you're not affected by giving up your position, I see no reason to not shoot at them.

You won't down them, but any extra damage and distraction is an advantage for your team

I'm also surprised at how many people still play this game, and again it was the last "real modern" game. I had some issue with long distance shooting where those shots would fall in COD Warzone but you shoot someone from like long distance and they don't go down lol. Just need to get used to the style more.

You have to be good at manual burst firing to get kills at any amount of distance.

It takes some time to get over the death grip where you waste a whole mag getting only a couple hitmarkers

Carbines are probably the most effective all-around. Good variation in the stats between guns, so you can pick one that suits your situation.

DMRs are stronger carbines, but with single fire. Not that the single fire stops people from spamming them. Weaker at close combat than carbines, but way more viable range. They're like a learner's carbine, there until you get good at manual burst fire.

PDWs and assault rifles are best at close combat. Medium range is somewhat viable, with a CBJ for slower fire rate and bigger mag, for example.

Machine guns are better than carbines in many aspects, but the support class is pretty shitty, unless you want to camp and spam mortars and UCAVs.

Shotguns are versatile, but f*** any loser using a semi or full auto. 870 or gtfo.

Sniper rifles have their place, but there's no reason to use anything but the SRR or M98. However, I find the CS5 to be really fun in spite of being one of the weakest.

Finally got my Robinhood card, even though the idea of using a trading account as a debit account is pretty pointless.

Surely I'm not the only one who has most of their money on Robinhood invested and not just sitting there.

But oooh yeah, gotta get $.01 interest every month

All in on Ohio State, simply because of the final coaches' poll where Dabo ranked OSU 10th or something.

They should be playing angry
