Why

It uses less resources for one thing. It has a built-in adblocker that isn't terrible.
With the GX version now, it has a better background display with music that loops that I enjoy, browser sounds when you open and close tabs as well as little clips of noise that recognizes when you type. There is a sidebar that I can use to access certain websites without actually going to them (Twitch and Twitter so far).
Also another personal positive there is a "GX Corner" that tells me of upcoming game releases, trailers, any free games that are available on platforms, any deals that are currently going on, etc.
