I think it's time to start looking for a new job

I've been working at my company for four years and have done about everything I think I can. I've also been butting heads with management from time-to-time for what I consider to be complete mistakes in team and roadmap management. I've always been a quiet dude, but recently I've been more involved at the request of the director of engineering since I have tons of thoughts on direction. That transition has gotten me into some possible hot water (at least on a personal level, not so much a professional one) and there's been a lot of quips back and forth over the last few weeks.

I hate that stuff. I don't like confrontation and I do not thrive in it. So, I think I'll spend the next few weeks seeing if there are other good opps out there. I'm not in a rush, but I definitely feel like my time is nearing its end.
