I used to eat like a pig and then bam once i started getting old and losing my hormones I couldn't eat like that without getting big

now I weight around 160 too and it just doesn't come off anymore

There are definitely ways to obtain those games for free.

I think looking up gameplay videos on Youtube can scratch that itch sometimes, especially when you want to see all the levels, rather than just playing the same first few levels you always play.

I'm a retro gamer above all else, and one thing I like about these games is that if you just want to play a game for 10 minutes you can. You don't have to sit through a ton of loading shit, etc.

We definitely view some of these games through a lens of nostalgia. I grew up with the NES and SNES because I'm old. Some of those games have aged like fine wine and hold up extraordinarily well today (Link to the Past, SMB3, Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake on MSX2, Donkey Kong Country series, etc.) Some have aged like Natty Ice mixed with skunk piss, such as Metal Gear, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Castlevania II, and...

...THAT FREAKING GAME. I challenge anyone to play it today and enjoy it. Not because it's hard (because a ton of great games from that era were also difficult), but because it's not that fun to play.

Strider, Gunstar Heroes, Shinobi III...there WERE hard games on the Genesis that still rock. I'm sorry, but Ecco just pisses me off and I really don't think it's aged well.
