Nah you just make a team that already exists or make one from scratch and play a full season. I cut my franchise down to 52 games (82 is too much) and make a brand new custom expansion team. We just drafted players from other existing teams. Won 2 titles including the last one when we started 0-2 in our 5 game series, then won 15 straight

I've played way too many "Difficult" difficulty games, and I thought I'd try to get my custom expansion players best all-time this season, so I turned down the difficulty.
