Yeah, those look like LS50s which I run on my desktop

I run some "vintage" Kef XQ series upstairs. I'm a big Kef fanboi. There's also an SVS SB12-NSD subwoofer off to the side. No sub on my desktop setup anymore.

Love my 77” OLED TV

Been debating on the OLED for my next upgrade. I'm still on this guy which i purchased all the way back in 2016: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C5TFNSM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's still great, honestly. Kind of want to see how the micro/mini LED stuff plays out before pulling the trigger on OLED. My living room is really f***ing bright for most of the day. Not sure how conducive it is up there.

I also threw together a cheapo theater in the basement with a 110" screen and I actually spend more time down here than up there when I want to watch stuff. Picture is obviously not amazing on the setup but it's a lot of fun.

I may go from my LS50s to some reference series towers soon but I’m not sure my wife will be comfortable with me spending a car’s amount on speakers

Are you talking KEF R1 or 100s or a different brand?

I honestly didn't notice a huge difference between the two, at least in my setup (which is not ideal for selective listening). I stuck with the 50s and pocketed the savings and the space saved.

Lots of audiophile stuff out there way better than KEF but I'm not looking to get sucked into that nonsense. I love the KEFs and the sound they produce in my space.
