As previously noted, it was reported Shane McMahon was quietly “let go” from WWE after receiving backstage heat for his producing work during the men’s 2022 Royal Rumble match.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, WWE is bringing in Shane for the Wrestlemania 38 weekend.

And why the heck shouldn't there have been? The man is an icon, a legend and the winningest coach in NCAA history. And lulz at those waxing poetic about Dean Smith! You know why we have a shot clock in college basketball? Because Smith made it unwatchable with his fabled "4 corners offense". Sometimes it pays to be old like myself and our 8 legged poster so we can school yinz on certain factoids.
Because he took a whole year to hype up his retirement. Remind me how Roy Williams retired.

I don't like the whole idea that "I want to be on Wrestlemania because it's Wrestlemania".

So you're not in a feud or competing for a championship, yet you still want to be on the show? You don't even care about winning, you just want to be there.

Way to bury every other PPV because no one ever talks about how much they want to wrestle at Backlash or Roadblock.

Every other match on the show has some storyline leading up to it, you know, giving the fans a reason to give a shit.

Meanwhile, you throw a big fit and still get what you wanted. Way to triumph over adversity there.

During the 1960s Bubas expanded Duke University's basketball program. He took it from a successful regional program that won a lot of games to a national program.

Good so you know how incredibly unwatchable he made college basketball.

Was watching Coach K protege Grayson Allen today during Panther game commercials.
Some of those old Duke games ended 40 39

One time unc had the ball for like 12 min

The documentary said it was 4 3 at the half or something

The four corners was used to run clock down. Like unc would be winning and just four corners to run out the clock.

So Seth gets summoned to Vince's office.

Seth actually being pretty funny as he's maniacally laughing and psyching himself up to talk to Vince, as he assumes he's getting fired.

Whole thing immediately goes down the shitter (with all of Marvel's mistimed jokes) when Vince says "If you wanted a match at Mania, why didn't you just ask me".

Seth's character immediately drops the comedic heelishness and goes back to being the obnoxious loser.

Met Shane O Mac when I was 13, over 20 years ago, in the parking lot hotel where all the wrestlers were staying for Summer Slam. Actually met the whole McMahon family aside from Linda. They are seriously the nicest people. Took time to take pictures and sign autographs for everyone.
