That is what you should be outraged about.

An update should be free. If you have NHL 18 you should be able to play the same game every year because that is basically what EA is doing now. NHL 22 = 21 = 20 = 19 = 18. All they did was update the f***ing roster. And they have the GALL to charge you 60 dollars for it.

in lost ark I could literally go into character select RIGHT NOW and pick ANY CLASS AND CHARACTER that is available in US version (not Korean version!)

In Genshin you could not do that

there are literally characters that you can ONLY unpack through primogems

If you did the same on Genshin you'd have to pay a shitload because of the amount of loot boxes in that game and the disadvantage f2p have

Yes, because Genshin's business model is mainly around having a high number of characters to unlock. Lost Ark's business model is mainly about speeding up the levelling of your characters/ gears and aesthetics.

Only characters I don't have are Itto, Eula, Kazuha, Keqing, Shenhe, Xiao and Yoimiya! (I'm not F2P, but I've also spent a fair amount of primogems on the weapon banners)

Of those, Kazuha is the only one I want.
