Many features advertised for the pixel 7 are already available on prior versions. For instance Google says you can live translate pictures on 7, but I just did that on my pixel 3a...

It's still a feature even if it isn't new.

However, Google Translate is just an app and not really phone-specific

Well, Google is basically advertising Android and their own apps.

Meanwhile, Samsung tries their hardest to make their own (worse) versions of every app that already exists in vanilla Android. To further cement them as obnoxious middlemen, they even have their own app store, for f***'s sake

The whole concept of Reddit relies on disorganization, multiple tweets (look at hockey which is 80% tweets) and "shitposts" in the offseason. and the mods are awful there. they frequently use filters to arbitrarily remove posts, yet at the same time multiple links will stay up that aren't deleted, leading to a sense of disorganization. it's just an awful awful place. HF is much more organized.
