Harbaugh was almost fired until 2021 that's fine by me

If he brings his OC and DC with him he might have a shot

The problem with Yinzers is that they don't care about sports

They are so adamant Tomlin be fired but they'll be so happy about being in the playoffs next week and after Big Ben loses again they're gonna go "oh it was a great season" instead of calling for tomlin to be fired again

they're just happy to be in the playoffs and not experience losing

how can this be okay?

It's the same nonsense as "Tomlin never had a losing season", as if there's some noteworthy difference between going 8-8 and 7-9, when you miss the playoffs in either scenario.

Eeking into the playoffs just to get walloped by actual competition is nothing to celebrate. In fact, it's not much different than just missing the playoffs entirely.

"But anything can happen in the playoffs." Eh, not really.

its Superman's first fight and it's also his first fight against beings of equal power, so yeah, he's gonna dodge an object thrown at him by Zod. The high casualties would be a reality of god like beings battling in urban areas and a reason why Batman is after Superman in BvS.

Also repeating the comedy of Zod being put on trial in Superman (1978) and then being turned into a 2d plane and not being heard from again the rest of the movie

Man of Steel with all its awesome effects and action had trouble with this area. The opening half uses a nonlinear timeline that throws off the pacing and makes it difficult to connect with any of the characters. Especially when some are dead one scene and alive the next. It can be a little jarring at times, even if it's intention was to give the film a more unique origin narrative. The first half was the most interesting as it focused on Kent’s travels, powers and past. It suffered some bad dialogue and pushed the theme of “hope” too hard (it being mentioned every other line) but the ideas were solid. I liked the concept of trying to turn Superman into an enigma again. Then came the second half where all story went out the window for mindless action, which completely throws away the forced theme of hope and any character development. The fights dragged on so long as to become dull. It also suffers from a tone that might be too grim for a Superman film. Not only does it lack comedy but it lacks emotion of any kind (with exception to a few with young Clark). This leads to an empty vapid feeling that leaves the audience without a since of fun, wonderment, or even drama.
