Battlefield: pilots spend whole round in air going 75-1 or 2 blowing people up and dropping bombs

Where's the fun in that. For what reason? To look good to the online people?

K-D is extremely overrated especially in a game like battlefield which rewards objective play and teamwork. Wow, you mean there are other ways to get points or keep your team from losing that don't involve shooting people or trying to "look" good on a scoreboard?

BFV received mixed reviews but encouraged team play to get squad points which you could spend on extra vehicles.

Riding the hachi in iwo jima and then jamming it into the tunnel as an exploit to incinerate everyone

once you took that tunnel you might as well have won the round because you were taking the next spot like 99% of the time

it always made me laugh how we took that tunnel but were the 1% of the time that we didn't make it up the mountain

Bonus feature: music that would get more climactic as the end of round approached!

EA and Dice f***ed battlefield up to the point that it's almost impossible to blow time like you could back in the day

the last good BF was V which you could happily spend 2 or 3 rounds playing. Can't play more than an hour of BF now

You could spend a good 2 to 3 hours just rotating through Battlefield pacific maps back in the day

Now you have to close BF2042 when you launch the game (because of course it'll crash the first time you launch it) and then restart it to actually get into the game. I shouldn't have to write a powershell script that opens BF2042, closes it, then relaunches it 30 seconds later, just to get into the game. That is how f***ed up BF2042 still is. And it's something that the devs have NEVER patched. Do you know how old that game is?

I remember when we couldn't even take any of the beach flags and it would just be slaughter all round

those rounds sucked

but if you could get off the beach and into the mountain shit got good

also it was not 99% that you won the round when you got through the mountain, you still had to climb the top, and if tickets were running low people would just turtle. it was a bitch to take that last point.

That guy just drove around in a tank shooting at people all game. The team was losing and bleeding tickets but he was in the tank like 80% of the game killing people.

Camping tanks call for C4 ramming.

Some people play that way, heck many people do, but I play the objective. Which is also why I would have rammed that tank into a conquest point and switched to gunner before getting the tank blown up. He played it safe

Making a suicide run with a tank is some noob shit. You're not going to cap the objective, so you're just leaving your team without a tank until it respawns.

There are ways to play the objective strategically without being a camping wuss or an idiot rushing in with no strategy.

Can't give him too much shit for joining the Lions after 0-16, but Gym Shorts was too arrogant and emotional to be a good head coach. Seems to be a good DC, though.

Ironically, the next coach was zero emotions Jim Caldwell, and all I can think about is the playoff meltdown against Dallas, where the team was ready to roll over and die after one bad call.

But Caldwell definitely got f***ed over by Bob Quinn, because he wanted to give his dipshit crony a job.
